What is the original system of yoga?

Yoga is one of rich traditional exercise that is said to be followed from ancient India till now and also in future. Yoga, one of the wonderful creation by our ancestors to benefit oneself and maintain a good healthy life. By doing this yoga, a person can become wealthy as in the proverb, “Health is Wealth”. It is said that people start doing yoga since Pre-Vedic Indian period and it is also one of the reason that why they were so much active and healthy.

As it has many good effects, it also has many side effects if it being preached by an untrained yoga teacher. It is also seen as one of the stress relief, depression free, and anxiety relief methods if preached properly. The most important factors – physical, mental and spiritual which are present in man are well balanced by this divine yoga.original system of yoga

As for as now, the yoga followed today is not from the past which it was founded, it also said to have undergone various improvement and development in each period.

The original system was developed by Indus civilization in India over 5000 years ago. The first system of yoga came to known from the sacred Vedas (Rig Veda).  From that Veda, people found two important yoga, karma yoga (action), Jnana yoga (wisdom). These yoga doesn’t give a clear thought as it was a mix of various thoughts and ideas.

In the next few generation, people started researching and found a systematic order and these were defined by Patanjali’s yoga sutras. This is said to be the classical period of yoga, for its classification done. The basic yoga asana is said to be obtained from this period.

A sage called Patanjali is considered as the father of yoga, for his extreme work in this classification.

In the next stage of yoga, preachers started neglecting in the yoga obtained from the Veda period and they started developing new yoga which concentrated on the physical body to attain enlightenment. Tantra yoga was the name given to it which used various techniques to cleanse mind and body.

A strong yoga called, Hatha yoga started developing in the west and people also started following and there were also many preachers like Swami Sivananda, Swami Vivekananada, T. Krishnamacharya, etc. These knowledgeable people started centres and preaching around the worlds for the overall benefit of everyone.

Hence we can say that original system of yoga got distributed somewhere in the evaluation of modern yoga. The modern yoga has more benefits than the lost yoga. People from all parts of the world already started following this and gaining many benefits.

These are some of the modern yoga styles with a different purpose, so people will get a well-defined idea of which can be followed by them.

According to research, children under 16 are not preferred, because their growth can be affected due to yoga exercise. It is not limited to any religion however it was preached by Hindus, Jains, and Buddhists. Many proofs, regarding the yoga, are obtained and it is also said that the people of that period faced a quite hard time in development and preservation of the yoga at the end of each period. But people, in order to make money, preach others without knowing themselves and due to that many problems are created.

It is also said that people having problems must consult with yoga preachers because doing the regular asana may increase the already present problems. A separate asana will be given to him/her if the problem is informed earlier stage.

People started following this healthy modern yoga in this modern world with a motive to manage the modern health problems. It is best and advisable if people do a little yoga on daily basis, instead of doing once in a weekly basis
